Kurt Foss
Kurt Foss began working with and evangelizing for
Adobe Acrobat and PDF beginning with version 1.0, continuing
through the technology's first decade (1993-2003) and
beyond. (In the same timeframe, Adobe Systems went through
several Acrobat Evangelists!) He was one of the first to
globally publish newspaper pages in PDF, an experience he
described in an article, Remembering the First Time, when he joined Planet PDF several
versions of Acrobat ago. An early believer and advocate, he
managed the first set of Acrobat/PDF-specific email
discussion lists on the Internet, tracked the growth of
related products and plug-ins, chronicled the periodic
Acrobat updates and expanding features, and has written
about the multitude of uses and users.
