2004 Print Workflow Summit Announced

September 16, 2004

The one-day seminar, a collaborative effort from Electronic Publishing magazine and, will be held in the greater Boston and NYC areas. The summit aims to marry the latest in printing and publishing technology with the business strategy it takes to stay competitive.

Prominent speakers including Ghent Workgroup Vice Chair David Zwang, CIP4 Executive Director Jim Harvey and columnist Dr. Joe Webb will guide attendees through topics ranging from developments in PDF and JDF to the theoretical graphic arts provider of the future.

"This Summit is created and powered by two of the best-known and respected names in the print and publishing industry," says Electronic Publishing Associate Publisher Steve Taneman. "Working together, we have identified topics that are important to our audience and engaged industry leaders to share their knowledge on these topics. The result is a unique, intimate presentation that is timely and offers a valuable return on investment." President Randy Davidson agrees the partnership is a good match. "Between the issues covered by Electronic Publishing in print and the topics we see surfacing every day on our website, we know what is facing the printer in today’s marketplace. This Summit explores these crucial topics like no other conference can."

The Print Workflow Summit will be held in Wakefield MA at the Sheraton Colonial in Boston's outskirts on November 8. A second Summit will run in Teaneck NJ's Glenpointe Marriott on Wednesday, November 10.

Note: Registration is US$199 for the day with complimentary meals. An early bird rate of US$149 is available until October 1. Potential delegates can register or read detailed session descriptions at
