Markzware has now released version 2.0 of its preflight toolkit, FlightCheck Workflow. The updated product adds new support for Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, Publisher and Powerpoint. Markzware has posted a complete application support list on its website.

FlightCheck Workflow can be integrated with fellow Markzware product FlightCheck to automate the preflighting process, and includes a suite of "mini-solutions" out of the box. These include the batch conversion of high-resolution images to more web-friendly versions, color space conversions and the batch correction of file extensions if they have been removed from the file name. A full list, in addition to download links can be found on the Markzware company website.

"We are happy now that FlightCheck Workflow has added compatibility for numerous applications, a new lower price, and best of all, simple built-in solutions that add productivity for both the beginning creative designer as well as well-heeled integrators.

FlightCheck Workflow 2.0 is currently available.
