PDF Standardizer released

March 05, 2009

Following its announcement in November of last year, PDF Standardizer was commercially released on Feb 24. A joint project by Enfocus Software and Alwan Color Expertise, the new product combines Alwan's CMYK Optimizer technology with Enfocus' PitStop Server, using Enfocus FullSwitch tool to automate the workflow.

PDF Standardizer is designed to reliably produce files that comply to PDF standards such as ISO 15930-1 PDF/X1-a and Ghent PDF Workgroup (GWG) specifications as well as to color standards such as ISO 12647. The real benefit of all this standardization is that it ensures that nothing is lost in translation between each stages of the printing workflow. While the new offering effectively combines three separate products, even installation has been simplified, with users only needing to manage a single installer and a single product key.

PDF Standardizer is available now through both Alwan and Enfocus' distribution channels. For more information, check out the Enfocus and Alwan websites.
