Day One App is a digital journal application for Mac, which allows users to record their day-to-day experiences through photos and notes like a physical journal. The differences play out with augmentation for the users real life journey with their digital collections of it.
The Day One application utilizes Foursquare to automatically pinpoint actual locations into a grid and saves them with the users photos. The recent upgrade is targeted towards enhancing user’s experiences by adding a PDF export function. The digital form functionality enables photos with the notes and locations to be exported as a PDF file for storage. This can then be easily opened just like your ordinary day-to-day PDF files.
The versatility of the PDF file type was part of a well-conceived plan to allow shareablity online.
