December 15, 2010

IDR Solutions, the company behind the JPedal Java PDF library, has released a free eBook for Java developers who are new to the complex world of PDF development.

The eBook covers a variety of different topics including the PDF basics, how to approach common tasks and other useful tips for working with PDF files.

"The PDF file format is a very common and complex file format. We have spent over 10 years getting to grips with it. So we have put together a short beginners guide for Java Developers. This explains to you how the PDF file works. It gives you the essential information you need to know with hints, tips and gotchas. Although aimed initially at Java developers, the content is very generic and equally useful to all developers working with PDF files," explained Mark Stephens, CEO of IDR Solutions.
