ICEsoft Technologies releases ICEpdf 4.0 open source PDF rendering

This week ICEsoft Technologies announced the release of ICEpdf 4.0, its open source PDF rendering technology for Java.

ICEpdf 4.0 is a streamlined open source Java PDF rendering library that can be integrated within any Java-based client application. The library can also be deployed on a server in headless mode as a PDF Servlet (JSP or JSF).

The rendering library enables PDF viewing and navigation, as well as PDF content conversion and extraction.

Additionally, users can employ PDF document editing and saving for Link Annotation edits. The latest version also includes a revamped search API and numerous bug fixes, according to the company. For the full detailing of bug fixes and improvements users can also see this link.

The program is licensed under the Mozilla Public License and can be downloaded from the website.
