PDF3D has released PDF3D-SDK version 1.6 which offers users XML server configuration option, enables batch processing and compositing of multiple 3D object files into 3D PDF technical publishing format.

Ian Curington, CEO of Visual Technology Services Ltd., noted, "While users can rotate, zoom, pan, set transparency, explore and review analysis results on 3D models, the recent Adobe additions of a new corner orientation icon assists navigation and the ?fly? mode is welcome for geospatial and environmental clients."

This release also improves the 3D floating text labels, using True Type fonts, anti-aliasing and dynamic billboard orientations.

The latest version is available at the company web site, as are more detailed release notes.
