The Imaging Source has announced a family of server-side components for Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and 2008 to generate invoices in PDF format.
TX Text Control .NET Server 14.0 comprises a family of components for Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and 2008, which can be used to create documents from MS Word compatible templates and content from databases. Resulting documents can then be printed or saved into PDF format.
The components allow centralized document creation, ensuring that documents are always up to date. The components were authored for server-side solutions, such as ASP.NET web applications or web services. TX Text Control .NET Server 14.0 supports industry standard formats such as Office Open XML (DOCX), MS Word (DOC), Rich Text Format (RTF) and HTML. Consequently, existing templates stored as DOC files can be used.
