This week in PDF has seen a free PDF library enhance its text drawing features; meanwhile, a 3D technology company and a PLM specialist have inked a partnership deal.

First up, Debenu's free pdf library, Quick PDF Library Lite 7.22 has enhanced its text drawing features in addition to several bug fixes. SetTextUnderline sets the underline mode for subsequently drawn text, and supports single, double, strikeout and over modes. Meanwhile, DrawTextBox allows developers to present word-wrapping text within defined boundaries. More information on the free pdf sdk can be found at the official product page.

In other news, Anark Corporation, a provider of automated 3D CAD solutions, and PROSTEP AG, a PLM integration specialist, have jointly announced a new partnership. The new partnership covers the two companies' plans to collaborate on technology and customer implementation initiatives that leverage the Adobe 3D PDF format as an open and freely viewable data container for 3D design and manufacturing applications. That's it for this week. Watch this space!
