Adobe Systems is offering a free, late-April workshop aimed at developers, designed to discuss and demonstrate "how the integration of PDF and XML can reduce development time and increase the manageability of your enterprise applications." The event is slated for San Jose, CA on April 28, from 1-3:30 pm, with registration beginning a half hour in advance.

Lori DeFurio, Adobe's Developer Evangelist, will lead the workshop, which will also include presentations by several document security experts from the company's Acrobat and LiveCycle engineering teams. The session will include a summary of how Adobe has integrated PDF and XML technologies, and a review of its Document Control and Security Solutions, including LiveCycle Document Security Server, LiveCycle Policy Server, Acrobat and Adobe Reader.

Adobe suggests that attendees register early to reserve a spot.
