Acrobat developer workshops in San Francisco in February

January 13, 2005

Adobe Systems is hosting a pair of free Acrobat developer workshops in conjunction with the RSA Conference 2005 (Feb, 14-18) in San Francisco. The 90-minute technical sessions -- offered twice during the week of the prestigious information security event -- will provide an overview of Adobe's desktop and J2EE server functionality from a developer perspective.

The sessions are designed to show how Adobe's technologies can help organizations maintain control over how, when, and by whom documents are accessed while providing trust that documents are authentic and unaltered. Topics include an overview of PDF document and form creation, integrating information in PDF documents with existing enterprise systems, new security functionality in Adobe Acrobat 7.0 and Adobe Reader 7.0, using digital signatures for trusted communications, and the new Adobe LiveCycle Policy Server.

Each attendee will receive a CD-ROM with materials presented and samples demonstrated.

The February 14 session runs from 1:30 - 3 pm, and the repeated February 17 edition will be held from 4 - 5:30 pm.
