PDF Tools releases 3-Heights PDF Optimization Tool

PDF Tools AG has released its software development tool 3-Heights(tm) PDF Optimization Tool, which can optimize PDF documents for size, fast-Web viewing and high-quality printing. Specific areas being optimized are fonts, images and redundant information.
Special features include:
Analyzing and optimizing images (converting colours, compressing)
Removing and replacing embedded fonts
Removing redundant and obsolete objects
Stripping unnecessary file information
It's available for a variety of platforms including Windows, Mac OS/X, Sun Solaris, SolarisX86, IBM AIX, HP-UX 11.0, Linux and FreeBSD. It can be used via COM API to support VB, .NET, Delphi, C, Java, etc. applications or as a shell tool from the command line.
