The latest ubiquitous tool to use for your PDF data gathering is E-Xtract. If you're frustrated at not being able to extract those pesky email addresses from existing PDF documents, then this is the tool for you.

Users can extract email addresses from PDFs, MS Office and all text-based file formats. Additionally this tool supports extraction from Web pages or files on remote servers.

After extraction the email addresses are in list format as well as outlook ready format which enables users to build a contact list directly from the extracted email addresses.

E-Xtract requires a Window-based operating system and can also run on Windows Server 2008.

The program can be downloaded at the developer's website and is priced at $7.95 US per license.
