Acrobat allows users to copy and re-use images from PDF documents when this is not specifically prohibited by the file's security settings.
In Adobe Acrobat, choose the 'Select Image' tool.
Select an image by clicking on it
Windows: Right-click on the selected image and select 'Copy to clipboard' or hold Ctrl-C to copy the image to the clipboard. Mac:Ctrl-click on the selected image and select 'Copy to clipboard' or hold Option-C to copy the image to clipboard.
Open your chosen source program (e.g. Microsoft Word) and paste the image into the desired location (Ctrl-V on Windows machines and Option-V on Macs).
