March 02, 2006

London-based Equisys has launched an update to its network-capable PDF software. Like its predecessor, Zetadocs PDF 2.0 converts documents into PDF and sends them via email. Features new to version 2.0 include: support for a central archive, simplified integration with fax servers and network printers, support for Citrix/Terminal Services environments and an expanded list of supported languages.

"Zetadocs fills a gap in the market for network-capable PDF software," said Chris Oswald, CEO of Equisys. "The new version of Zetadocs provides benefits to the business as a whole, as well as to individual users, because it is has been developed to align with organizational goals. For businesses, this means PDF creation from desktop applications for every network user, as well as integration with line of business applications such as email systems, accounts packages and CRM systems."

More information and trial versions of Zetadocs PDF 2.0 are currently available from the Equisys web site.
