Free PDF accessibility talk by Duff Johnson

Making PDF documents accessible to users with visual or other impairments is an important -- and sometimes mandatory -- part of posting PDF content online. In his December 9 talk for, PDF accessibility maven Duff Johnson will outline ways to build accessible PDF documents using the relevant features in Adobe Acrobat 9.

Duff will offer detailed advice on coping with the following common document structure challenges:

  • Walking the tags tree
  • Understanding content order vs tagging
  • When to tag, when to make an artifact
  • Setting column and rowspan in sophisticated tables.
