Fujitsu showcases new ultra-portable Scanner for use with Mac

Fujitsu, a leading provider of document imaging scanners, showcased the ScanSnap S1100, its newest ultra-portable scanner, at the Macworld 2011 Conference and Expo. ScanSnap S1100 is one of the world's smallest document scanners for use with the Mac platform and scans data into PDF format.

The new Fujitsu ScanSnap S1100 is powered by a USB cable and converts the scanned data into searchable PDFs. It also allows users to convert the scanned data into editable Word and Excel files. Fujitsu ScanSnap S1100 can directly scan the data into PDF documents on cloud-based services such as Evernote and Google Docs.

Fujitsu ScanSnap S1100 weighs just over 12 ounces and can easily fit into a briefcase or purse. The new scanner was showcased at the Macworld 2011 Conference and Expo, January 27-29 in San Francisco.
