Global Graphics has released version 4.0 of its server-based software solution that allows for the creation of automated PDF workflows that manage the conversion of users' documents into PDF files for corporate file sharing.
A key feature is the product's drag-and-drop graphical Administrator interface, designed to simplify configuration and workflow administration. Jaws PDF Server 4.0 also allows users to create "intelligent" PDF files from Microsoft Office documents that retain interactive features such as bookmarks and hyperlinks via a toolbar buttons installed in Word and PowerPoint.
In addition to supporting native applications, Jaws PDF Server can also be used to create PDF workflow solutions where PostScript language, Encapsulated PostScript (EPS), and TIFF files can be placed into hot folders for conversion to optimize PDF files and subsequent distribution.
Discounted volume pricing is available, and an evaluation version of the software can be downloaded from the Jaws PDF website.
