Germany-based Grahl Software has released PDF Annotator 1.5 which offers users Windows XP, 2000, Vista and Tablet PC compatibility.

In addition, the latest release gives users the ability to add images and photos to an existing PDF through the clipboard feature. Version 1.5 also gives users a palette of customizable drawing tools as well.

Oliver Grahl, developer said, "The most notable enhancement in PDF Annotator 1.5 is clearly the ability to enter text through the keyboard. This makes PDF Annotator available for use on any desktop PC."

PDF Annotator also features annotation capabilities as well as comment insertion, text boxes, and highlighting of text in existing PDF documents.

PDF Annotator 1.5 can be downloaded at the company web site, for a free thirty day evaluation from the web site and the software retails for $49.95.
