Karl's Corner Adobe Acrobat PDF Central Conference 2006

October 17, 2006

There's little over a month to go and I've got to admit, I'm getting pretty excited about the upcoming PDF Central Conference, 2006.

Not surprisingly, Acrobat 8 is going to be one of the hot topics at the event.

In addition, a lot of the topics that we've been discussing at Planet PDF over the last year are going to be covered at the conference. For example, Leonard Rosenthol is going to provide an introduction to Microsoft's XPS and how it relates to PDF, if at all. Angie Okamoto will be covering the vast array of conversion settings available when creating a PDF from Microsoft Office using PDF Maker.

And if that's not enough, a special "Mini Conference" (see agenda) is also being offered on November 6, for those who are new to PDF or are still investigating the PDF possibilities.

If you've not checked it out yet, I'd encourage you to visit the conference website and run through the conference program. Hope to see you there!

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
