LuraTech, Inc. has launched new PDF/A-based content and document management products at the AIIM Conference & Exposition, April 16-19, 2007.
PDF/A (or PDF/Archive), enables organizations to archive documents electronically, with assurance of content preservation over an extended period of time; and guarantees enterprises the ability to retrieve and render these electronic documents despite the future technical landscape.
LuraTech has updated its existing PDF/A solution for compressing scanned documents, and will add digital signature technology to the package. The new version of LuraDocument PDF Compressor allows users to compress, OCR and digitally sign scanned documents while archiving them in the standard PDF/A format.
The update coincides with the release of LuraDocument PDF/A Printer and LuraDocument PDF/A Validator, designed to convert electronic documents into PDF/A and check PDF/A compliance, respectively.
