New version of pdf-DocPro released

UNIVERSE Software GmbH, a developer of PDF solutions, has announced a new version 8.0 of pdf-DocPro, its multi-purpose PDF software. pdf-DocPro is a PDF "Swiss army knife" that allows a user to set presentation properties, compress documents, split or merge files, digitally sign documents and remove master passwords from PDFs. pdf-DocPro 8.0 can decrypt 40-bit RC4, 128-bit RC4, 128-bit AES and 256-bit AES encryption and remove all security restrictions in a single click.

The key features of pdf-DocPro 8.0 include:

  • Allows users to edit, copy, print and annotate PDFs
  • Allows users to split, merge or extract pages from PDFs
  • Supports PDF/A
  • Fully-compatible with Adobe Acrobat
  • Downward compatibile from Adobe Form Designer forms to Adobe Acrobat versions 5 to 8
  • Allows users to secure PDFs through use of Digital signature
  • Full control of presentation properties for PDF
  • Compresses PDFs up to 90%
  • Allows users to set encryption level and define security settings
  • Decrypt PDF files which have a master password
  • Decrypt PDF files with up to 256-bit AES encryption
