Nitro PDF Software has announced the availability of German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Dutch-language versions of its PDF to Word and PDF to Excel conversion sites.
Following the English beta release in March earlier this year, the free online services allow users to convert PDF content into DOC/RTF and XLS files for editing in applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, OpenOffice, and WordPerfect. The launch represents part of a growing push by the company to strengthen its worldwide position as the leading provider of dedicated PDF products and solutions.
"Widespread adoption of Nitro solutions is growing across a multitude of diverse markets and cultures -- the launch of localized versions of PDF to Word and PDF to Excel simply reinforces the continuing commitment to make our offerings more accessible to users across the globe," stated Gina O'Reilly, Nitro's SVP of Sales & Marketing. "The English sites have been immensely popular -- it was only a matter of time before we responded to demand and extended these services to both new and existing users, in their native languages. This is an incredibly exciting time for Nitro and the latest release represents the first step in a massive localization initiative scheduled for our entire product family."
