Nitro PDF Software has released PrimoPDF 5.0.0.19 with new drag and drop functionality along with the conversion power for over 300 file types to PDF.
Users can create PDF documents for online viewing, eBooks, office printing and prepress printing. Additionally the free PDF software enables users to combine already converted PDF files and secure documents with passwords.
PrimoPDF enables users to print to PDF from any Windows application. PrimoPDF 5.0 also lets users overwrite existing PDFs as well as set document properties for each PDF.
"The latest iteration of Primo, more than anything, represents an enormous enhancement in the overall user experience," said CTO Chris Dahl. "Drag-and-drop PDF creation reduces what is typically a 6- or 8-step process to a single click -- simply drag any supported file onto the Primo icon on your desktop, and convert it straight to PDF. We're proud to say that Primo is the only free PDF creator out there to offer this creation option."
Dahl continued, "We've also made the user interface much more intuitive and Primo is now even faster. The response during the beta period was overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to our existing users and many more enjoying these exciting new features."
The program offers a powerful fully-functional free conversion capabilities for the most popular file types including MSWord and Excel. The company also improved the "Save As" feature in the latest update.
