Using Adobe Acrobat:
Select "Ctrl + D" to go to the Document Properties menu. Alternatively you may click on the arrow button on the top right hand side of your PDF document. (A PDF must be open to use this second option).

Tick the box "Open in Full Screen Mode" to activate. Next time you open it, it will appear using the full screen.
