Odessa, Ukraine-based DAR Software has announced a major update to its iOS-based PDF creation app. PDF Printer 3.0 adds support for iOS 7, but more importantly, introduces an integrated document scanner for creating PDFs from hard copy documents.

The introduction of a scanner, which works with the cameras built in to iOS devices, stands to provide a range of benefits. Not least of these will be the ability to digitize and file paper documents along with PDFs created from other sources on-the-go.

The iPad and iPhone versions of the app that feature the new functionality are currently available from the iTunes App Store.
