PDF Tools AG releases Classic PDF Tools 3.1 update

PDF Tools AG has rolled out version 3.1 of its Classic PDF programming tools. The tools are available as programming libraries (APIs) and command line shell versions.

According to Roger Reeves, PDF Tools AG , the latest update adds additional support for annotations and boosted form filling processing. Additionally, the company has added support for the "Euro" sign in forms and tweaked individual bugs from previous versions.

Classic PDF Tools 3.1 includes the PDF Prep Tool Suite, the PDCAT COM DLL -- a merge and split utility, the PDF Batch Stamp Tool, and the PDF Command Line Suite. The PDF Command Line Suite offers several individual manipulation tools for the command line.

In addition, the Classic PDF Tools also offers users the PDF Form Filling Tool and the PDF Library SDK. The tools are compatible with all Windows and UNIX platforms.

The latest version is available at the company Web site as well as more detailed release notes.
