PDF Update: Enterprise-level PDF-to-InDesign solution released

December 21, 2011

Planet PDF is a division of Debenu.

In this PDF update, we find the release of an enterprise-level PDF-to-InDesign solution, and a beta update to a PDF developer library.

First up, Osaka-based Recosoft Corporation has announced the release of PDF2ID Enterprise, its enterprise-level PDF-to-InDesign and PDF-to-IDML conversion solution. The new product allows users to convert up to hundreds of thousands of PDFs into InDesign or IDML formats by targeting a folder. The offering's support for IDML allows converted output to be used in environments that require well-formatted XML documents. The product also boasts built-in notification facilities. PDF2ID Enterprise is currently available for Mac OS X and Windows systems via annual subscription through Recosoft's reseller network. For more information, check out for more info.

In other news, Debenu has released a new beta of its PDF developer library. Quick PDF Library 8.14 Beta 2 includes a range of enhancements and bug fixes. Specific enhancements make it easier to print to a range of different printers, increase control over image resolution, and add support for HTML5. For more, check out the official update page.

That's it for this time. Watch this space!
