PDFescape now supports adding images to PDF documents

Red Software, a California-based software company which specialises in PDF software, announced that PDFescape, its online service for PDF editing, now supports adding images to PDF documents. PDFescape is one of the first web-based services that includes a PDF reader, editor, form filler and form creator.

The new feature of PDFescape's PDF Editor allows users to add images and scanned signatures to PDF documents. PDFescape supports the following image formats:

  • BMP
  • GIF
  • JPG
  • PNG

PDFescape's PDF Editor is a completely free service. PDFescape also offers a Premium Account which features an ad-free workspace for a lifetime membership fee of USD 10.

PDFescape is a web-based service built on XHTML, JavaScript, XML and AJAX. Users do not need to install any software to use the service.
