Debenu, brainchild of Nitro PDF Software founder Karl De Abrew and the company behind the Quick PDF Library, has acquired Planet PDF from Nitro PDF Software, along with sister businesses PDF Store and ARTS PDF Software. Details of the deal were not disclosed.

"We are proud to welcome Planet PDF, ARTS PDF Software and PDF Store into the fold," said Debenu co-founder and CEO, Karl De Abrew. "In acquiring Planet PDF, we took the reins to the leading source of PDF news and related content. Meanwhile, PDF Store gives us a premium sales channel for 3rd-party PDF software, and ARTS PDF Software has long been a key player in the Acrobat plug-in market."
