Japan-based Recosoft Corporation has announced the release of PDF2Office 5.0 with new features targeted at making Microsoft Excel conversion easier on users.
With this release users can now convert PDF files to Microsoft Excel format as well as convert PDF files to the native Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint 97-2003 binary file formats and the Excel/Word/PowerPoint 2007 XML formats.
Additionally, the program enables users to open PDF documents in Microsoft Excel. Recosoft has added a new PDF2Office plug-in for Microsoft Excel which lets users select and convert documents directly within Excel 2000-2007.
Version 5.0 also includes PDF Reconstruction v 4.5 engine, which gives enhanced graphics processing, complex layout and PDF data recognition. The company also made adjustments to identifying footnotes and headers/footers.
PDF2Office Professional 5.0 is priced at $99 and upgrade licenses are available for $49. PDF2Office Standard 5.0 is priced at $69 and upgrade licenses are $39.
