SmileOnMyMac updates PDFpen Pro 3.3.1

San Francisco, California-based SmileOnMyMac has released an update to its PDF editing and form-filling utility.

PDFpenPro 3.3.1 release adds several fixes including to the previous version including fixing the "Combine PDF" Script under Leopard, corrections to the "Open with PDFpen" workflow item under Leopard, positioning of markup when using page cropping function, fixed positioning of comments when page is rotated.

Additionally, the company improved compatibility with off-spec documents. PDFpen enables users to fill out and save PDF forms, remove and insert pages from existing PDFs and overlay text and images within PDFs. Users can also add, edit and remove URL and page links in PDFpen.

The program also automates PDF manipulations with AppleScript and gives users the ability to create cross-platform fillable PDF forms.

Both programs require Mac OS X 10.4 or later and pricing runs $94.95 US.

The program is available for download from the company's web site.
