This week in PDF has seen an update to a web content security product, along with the releases of a standard for including advertising material in PDF documents and a PDF developer library compatible with Windows Mobile.
First up, LockLizard has released version 2 of Lizard Protector. The web content security solution allows content owners to protect their web pages from copying, modifying, screen grabbing, saving and distribution -- all without the use of passwords. The new version adds support for viewing protected content online, rather than simply on distributable CDs, along with an updated GUI and the ability to set document expiry by days elapsed or number of views. For more information, check out the LockLizard website.
