This week in PDF: PDF2Office Professional 5 released

January 14, 2010

This week in PDF has seen a Mac-based PDF-to-Office tool updated.

First up, Recosoft Corporation has commenced shipping PDF2Office Professional v5.0 for Macintosh. Among the 100+ enhancements in the new version are PDF-to-Excel conversion and full compatibility with Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. The update also adds a new Typeface Library, which remembers and stores all font substitutions made, eliminating the need to repeatedly specify font substitutions. Finally, the latest edition of the software supports the conversion of PDF documents into native Microsoft Excel 2007/2008, PowerPoint 2007/2008 and Word 2007/2008 formats. For more information, check out the official vendor website.

That's it for this week. Watch this space!
