PDF/A Competence Centre (PDFACC) has launched its UK Chapter to assist customers and companies that offer PDF/A products and services in the UK geography. The launch of UK Chapter is marked with a series of educational seminars with the first seminar in London on 19th November.

PDF/A is an ISO standard since 2005 and governs the use of PDF format for the long-term archiving of electronic documents. The PDF/A Competence Centre (PDFACC) was founded as an international association to address the high-demand for information about PDF/A and to promote the exchange of ideas and experience.

The educational seminars planned by PDF/A Competence Centre will help to increase visibility of the PDF/A standard in UK as there are several companies in UK that provide PDF/A solutions.
