Amongst the wonders (and occasional horrors) of Etsy.com we found this Mario-inspired PDF pattern. Feeling nostalgic for the days when Super Mario Bros. was the height of pixellated sophistication? This amigurumi doll is for you so find yourself some yarn and have at it.

Amigurumi is a Japanese craft, in which animal toys are knitted or crocheted and stuffed. The hobby has no practical application whatsoever and tends to become addictive... much like Super Mario Bros was back in ... well ... when we were less mature than we are now. Let's just leave it at that.

The finished doll measures around 6" tall. Find the pattern here or in Etsy seller sicuu's store : there's also a Koopa Troopa for the ambitious!
