Ubiquitous PDF: Free online service generates Sudoku puzzle-books

August 30, 2007

It's been a while now since the puzzle craze Sudoku first hit the English-speaking world, so one might think that it's about time it moved to the next level. Thanks to French developer Glenn Sanson, you can now generate a book of random Sudoku puzzles -- complete with solutions -- in PDF format. Once generated, the books are ready for your printing and problem-solving pleasure.

The free online service, entitled SudoPDF, is a Java applet that generates the Sudoku puzzles on the fly. Visitors just need to choose a difficulty level and number of pages. They then hit the SudoPDF button to get a nice-looking PDF puzzle-book.

Interested Planet PDF readers can visit the SudoPDF web page to generate hours of Sudoku-related fun.
