Thanks to the new Acrobat Geospatial & Mapping Gallery, you can now download a geospatially aware PDF map of Obama's inaugural parade route. The Gallery is a user-contributed showcase of PDF maps, and this particular map has been credited to Scott Lee of TerraGo Technologies.

According to GISuser.com:

Acrobat 9 can import the geospatial information in Tiff or Jpeg 2000 files, import image files and let the user adds coordinate information, or can import Shape files to create viewable layers in the PDF. Several GIS applications also directly create PDF maps, including ArcGIS 9.3 and TerraGo Technologies Composer.

You can download a copy of the PDF route map directly from the Gallery.
