PDF ebooks offer a convenient and inexpensive way for publishers to make out-of-print titles available to interested readers. In that vein, Martingdale & Company has recently now sells a range of out-of-print craft books as PDF-based ebooks.

According to suite101.com's Kate Pullen:

The out of print craft books available from Martingale & Company in ebook format include quilting, knitting and crochet books. Titles available in ebook format include Dazzling Knits: Building Blocks to Creative Knitting by Patricia Werner, Knitted Shawls, Stoles, and Scarves by Nancie M. Wiseman and Joy of Quilting by Joan Hanson and Mary Hickey. These out of print titles can be found for sale from second hand book stores or on online auction sites such as eBay. Making the books available for sale as digital downloads offers another option for people seeking out these titles.

Pullen notes that the ebooks are "exact copies of the printed books", indicating that they retain much of the look-and-feel of the original print editions.

To browse through the available titles, check out the Martingdale & Company website.
