Vitrium Systems has announced that it will officially launch the web-based docmetrics application at this year's Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) NetGain conference, May 18-20 in San Francisco.

Docmetrics converts standard PDFs into "smart documents" -- enhanced PDF documents that capture reader data using customizable forms and Vitrium's document analytics technology, which measures reader engagement and document performance.

"Docmetrics generates more, better quality data than content providers have ever been able to gather before," stated Peter Nieforth, CEO of Vitrium Systems. "This information provides online marketers and electronic publishers with an unprecedented wealth of actionable insight."
