Acrobat 7.0 now available for online purchase & download

Adobe Systems has begun selling both the full version of and upgrades to its Acrobat 7.0 family of software products, currently available only for online purchase and immediate download from its Adobe Store. The site indicates that the boxed version of the Professional and Standard flavors of Acrobat 7.0 will begin shipping in January 2005, and pre-orders can also be placed online if a physical shipment is preferred.

Adobe will also be offering downloads of a free trial version of Acrobat 7.0, presumably when the boxed product begins shipping. (NOTE: The trial version of its Acrobat 6 product was available for MS Windows-based computers/users only.)
