By now, most users should be familiar with the option to shuffle or reorder pages in a PDF file using the Thumbnail View or Pages Pane in Acrobats 5 and 6 respectively. What you might *not* know, is that there is also an easy way to copy pages within a PDF document from this view, which is somewhat simpler than extracting and inserting pages via menu commands.
To do this:
Open Acrobat and expand the Pages Pane
Hold down the Control key on your keyboard
Select and drag the page(s) to be copied to the appropriate position within the Pages Pane
You can also use use this method to copy pages between different PDF files. Just open up multiple PDF documents in Acrobat and make them visible ('Window > Tile'). Then expand the pages pane as you did before for the PDFs you want to copy pages between. Rather than drag the page you wish to copy to a position within the same document, drag it over to the pages pane into another PDF and that page will instantly be copied across.
