iFunia, a developer of Mac multimedia software, has announced the release of PDF Image Extract for Mac, its new Mac OS X utility for export of images from PDF documents. The exported images can be saved as JPEG, GIF, PNG and BMP image files. PDF Image Extract for Mac is a stand-alone program and does not require Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader.

PDF Image Extract for Mac has a user-friendly interface which allows the image extraction in simple two-steps. Users can drag-and-drop the PDF documents that they want to convert, choose the image format and click "Convert".

PDF Image Extract for Mac provides an option to either convert the entire PDF document or selective pages to images. The new software also supports the extraction of images from multiple PDF files in a batch at high speed while maintaining good image quality.

A free trial version of this software is available for download at PDF Image Extract for Mac
