Where did my shortcut keys go in Acrobat 6.0?

Regular users of Acrobat 5.0, and in particular regular users of the short-cut accelerator keys that let you access commonly used tools quickly, will notice when opening Acrobat 6.0 for the first time that these no longer seem to be available. Examples of the sort of tools you can get to from your keyboard include 'H' for the Hand Tool, 'Z' for the Zoom Tool and 'V' for the Select Text Tool.

Fortunately the issue is quickly solved -- it is a new option in preferences. We still wonder why short-cut accelerators are turned off by default. To turn them back on go to Preferences (Ctrl + K) > General and select the 'Use single-key accelerators to access tools'.
