Security updates available for Adobe Reader and Acrobat: September 10 2013

Adobe have released a security update for Adobe Reader and Acrobat XI (11.0.03). The security patch also works for earlier versions for Windows and Macintosh. The update is for critical vulnerabilities and it is advisable to download it.

The update addresses critical vulnerabilities, and has been given a priority rating level of 2.

Adobe released a statement via their Security Bulletin board stating "These updates address vulnerabilities that could cause a crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system."

Users may monitor the latest information posted by the Adobe Product Security Incident Response Team on their blog
