Leading PDF experts will convene in Baltimore this fall at the ninth PDF Conference (www.pdfconference.com), focusing on "Building Better PDFs," and being held at the Baltimore Convention Center on September 13-14. The updated program includes an impressive array of PDF experts from government, enterprise and the graphic arts industry.
According to PDF Conference founder and host Carl Young, the sessions and workshops reflect responses received from its online survey conducted over the past months. "We heard back from users and industry insiders representing government and creative arts on what they feel to be the most critical issues relating to PDF. Based on that input we have once again signed on some of the most respected PDF experts ... to meet the requirements of the growing marketplace."
This year's PDF Conference will feature four main tracks addressing key practical application segments:
Acrobat User (focusing on the individual user and small workgroups)
PDF in Business and Government
PDF in Printing and the Creative Arts
PDF Special Interest (areas of interest to specific groups, such as meeting Section 508 requirements or creating engineering drawings)

PDF publishing is mainstream these days, and it's certainly more efficient and eco-friendly than conventional distribution channels. Sometimes, though, it's a pleasure to sit down with a printed magazine, and many readers will never enjoy reading long items digitally. Magcloud is a self-publishing service which combines e-publishing with print-on-demand.
OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
