Topic: dificulties with acrobat sdk

I'm a new user of adobe sdk. Beside the fact the documentation is incredible hard to follow and to figure out what and where to look for, I tried without any success to compile and run the examples provided in the acrobat sdk5.0 dev. kit.

I am using the project builder (on the macOS 10 platform). I wasted 3 days trying to compile the example looking in the sdk documentation and it didn't work.

First I got errors at compilation after I've got error at linking phase. (variable _gAcroViewHFT, etc not defined). I tried to include (#include) in the example the class PIMain.c/PIMain.cpp but it didn't work either.

Acrobat sdk has one of the worse documentation I've ever seen (I came from a java world where everything it seems to be very clear). There is no documentation of what libraries to use, and moreover the structure of its tens of documents are confusing.
