I am ver pleased with the 6.0 but recent system failures are potentially a new virus.
McAfee and Norton do not scan or detect in email... very concerned.
have removed all software and pdf 995 writer as well ...
symtoms are the pdf opens with Acrobat 6.0 the as soon as the api displays the content the whiteboard is only open for 1 sec then file closes.
looking for the killer prog but can slow it down long enough to capture. Short of a complete system reload I am fubared and can no longer use pdf files. I will not send them via email till the vectoization model is determined for fear of spreading the problem to others.
I have written to McAfee and Norton no reply
the info on the vbs virus proof of purpose does not describ my problems. I have search the registry and the disk for tell tales of that particular virus ... any comment or help is greatly desired I dont want any others to have this problem ... Again Norton does not prevent this from being emailed to others ... I am useing my firewall to stop unathorized exe and script activity but that destroy the point of all this equipment.
no completely cluless but am hoping this could just be a revision failure and not a virus. none of my recipients have experienced any similar problem yet.
