Topic: Pdf encryption Javascript strings

Hello,

sorry, if my english is not very well.

I develop an application, wich writes pdf-files. So far everything works fine incl. Standard-Encryption to streams and strings.

Now I added the functionability of interactive formfields to my program. In these formfields you can set any Adobe-Javascript instructions.

The problem is:
When I set the default encryption to these Javascript strings ("/ JS" in pdf), then the Acrobat-program ignores it. The encryption of the Javascript string doesn't follow the default specification in the Adobe pdf Spec.

Does anybody know, how the strings in the Javascript string have to be encrypted? Where is the difference to the default encryption mechanism?

Note:
The form with the Javascript inside works fine. The problem occures only, if the document is encrypted.

Thanks for every help
Roman
